ips anomaly repair works of paradip-haldia-barauni mainline section under phbpl jurisdiction.--1 earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil (except hard rock requiring blasting) for foundation, substructures, trenches, sumps, pits etc. to the following depths including shoring, strutting, trimming of sides of the trenches, dressing, ramming and levelling the bottom of the trenches correct to level, grade etc. including bailing out of water (if any), stacking selected excavated earth for backfilling, filling available excavated earth in trenches, foundation, plinth etc. and/or disposing the excess earth outside iocl premises to an unobjectionable area with all leads and lifts, etc. complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of the site engineer. 1.1 depth upto 1.5 m (measured from original ground level) 1.2 depth between 1.5 m to 5.0 m 2 earth work in excavation in hard rock requiring by chiselling/pneumatic drilling where blasting is prohibited, in both wet and dry condition for foundation, substructures, trenches, sumps, pits etc. to the following depths including shoring, strutting, trimming of sides of the trenches, dressing, ramming and levelling the bottom of the trenches correct to level, grade etc. including bailing out of water (if any), shoring, strutting, filling available excavated earth in trenches, foundation, plinth etc. and/or disposing the excess earth outside iocl premises to an unobjectionable area with all leads and lifts, etc. complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of the site engineer. 2.1 depth upto 1.5 m (measured from original ground level) 2.2 depth between 1.5 m to 5.0 m 3 providing shuttering with bamboo, tin plates to avoid collapse ofexcavated stacked earth in excavated trench. continuous shuttering ofheight 2m and requierd length on each side of thetrench is to be made toprevent collapse of trench. length of shuttering will be decided as persite requirement and as per direction of eic/ site engineer. 4 removal of logged or seepage water by continuous dewatering with pump orby manually as required till the rectification of coating is doneincluding finding out the damaged coating portion as per direction ofeic/ site engineer and requirement of site. 5 removal of coating wherever found damaged, prepare the surface of theline and refurbish the coating with the cold tape, (the cold tape andprimer will be supplied by the owner), includingsurface preparation,providing manpower, tools and tackles, consumable as per direction of eic/site engineer and requirement of site. 6 inspection of the defect with ultrasonic flaw detector with validcalibration certificate and the person taking the measurement or engagedfor inspection should be at least a asnt level-ii certification holder[american society for nondestructive testing (asnt) program]. the reportshould include sketch showing detailed defect dimension and position onthe pipe along with calibration certificate of ultrasonic flawdetector.party may hire this service from established firm engaged inthis type of specilaized inspection. 7 taking ms pipes from owners store at phbpl paradip for preparationof half cut sleeves. the pipe is to be cut into halves of requiredlength and circumference as per direction,preparation of bevel end,welding of clamps on the sleeves, transporting the prepared sleeves tosite, including providing man, machine and consumables like weldingmachine, generator,grinding machine, complete as per site requirementand direction.[1m of sleeve preparation consists of 2half cut pipe withcomplete clamp and nut-bolts for fitting]. 8 as decided and directed by the owner, the half cut sleeves are to bepositioned around the damaged area of the pipe, welding of halvesbetween themselves and with the pipe, completeincluding providing andsupplying all required manpower, machineries, consumables etc., as perdirection ofeic/ site engineer. payment shall be made as per runninglength of weld. 9 mobilisation of of scaffolding and construction of hanging platform 3 meter *3 meter on rajendra bridge rail track with all tools and tackles at ips defect location and removing of same after completion of work as per instruction of engineer-in-charge. 10 mobilisation of of welding machine, generator, grinding and buffing machine and all the necessary tools and equipments for sleeve welding on rajendra bridge rail track at ips defect location as per instruction of engineer-in-charge. 11 mobilisation of 02 nos of boats minimum 4 meter length in good condition including manpower to operate the same and two certified swimmers on each boat as per instruction of engineer-in-charge. 12 laisoning and coordination from railway authority for doing the work in due time. 13 providing 01 nos of ambulance and 01 nos of standby vehicle at site for emergency situation during sleeving work on rajendra bridge as per instruction of engineer-in-charge. 14 providing and supplying 2 watchmen at site for security of pipeline atodd hours for 8 hrs duty as per the direction of siteengineer/engineer-in-charge
