contractor shall deploy the experienced license holding drivers as per scope of work and preference will be given to sslc passed and minimum two years or more experience in heavy vehicle (such as bus lorry etc.) driving. 2. the successful agency shall deploy the drivers as per contract within 7 days from the date of receipt of work order 3.the drivers shall be deployed for daily duties of 12 hours for rendering the services. 4. the drivers personnel deployed shall be discipline physically fit and mentally alert. 5. halting: if the vehicle travels outstation and halts outstation then halting charge is applicable. general scope of work: 1. the drivers shall be deployed to other sections of the division depending on requirement. 2. in case of emergency requirement the drivers may have to work beyond general duty hours or may be called for duty after the general duty hours. 3. in the event of occurrence of any accidents at/near the site of work or in connection with execution of the work a report shall be submitted by the agency immediately to the concerned engineer giving full details of the accident. 4. instruction may be issued from time to time during progress of the work for removal and re execution of any work which is not in line with the required specification in the opinion of the engineer. 5. the corporation shall not be responsible for any of the unauthorized acts and or liable for any damage or injury sustained by agency in the course of their work duty in and around the office and plant premises. 6. the agency shall maintain proper records and present to the concerned officers whenever called for. 7. the work is of time bound nature and hence the agency shall attend the work immediately on intimation by the executing division and complete the work within the scheduled time. other terms and conditions: 1. the agencies shall visit work site before quoting in order to have first-hand information about the working conditions at site. 2. the agencies shall deploy the qualified drivers as required. one of them must take the responsibility of leader of this unit. 3. the contractor shall protect his deployed employees and other persons from risk of injury or bodily harm arising from or in any way related to the work. 4. the transportation arrangements of drivers are the responsibility of the contractor himself. 5. the agency should have provident fund account for all his drivers and should submit pf paid statement whenever asked by engineer -in-charge. 6. workmen compensation insurance shall be made by the agency for the deployed labour as per workmen compensation act-1948, which shall also cover the contractor against claims for injury disability disease or death of his or his sub-contractor employees. 7. the drivers called for duties beyond or after general duty hours are not eligible for any extra holidays from kpcl. 8. all contractor workers should wear uniforms belts and shoes and id cards while driving.
